Andrea Miller

My life is simply the pursuit of beauty.  In particular, my paintings celebrate femininity, sexiness, strength, wit and of course, beauty.  I have always been obsessed with beautiful women, my earliest drawings that I can remember, when I was around 8 years old, were of the ancient Greek Goddesses, preferably the naked Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty, draped in a falling away toga revealing her perfect breasts.  Yes, strange subject matter for a young girl to obsess about, but I have remained true to my love of the goddess form after all these years.  I prefer working with oil paint mixed with linseed oil as it reflects the sensuality of the women’s voluptuous bodies.
